I can do all things through You, Jesus, who gives me strength (Phil. 4:13).

What You are commanding me is not too difficult for me or beyond my reach. It is not up in heaven, so that I have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to me so I may obey it?” Nor is it beyond the sea, so that I have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to me so I may obey it?” No, the Word is very near me; it is in my mouth and in my heart so I may obey it (Deut. 30:11-14).

I humble myself, therefore, under Your mighty hand, God, that You may lift me up in due time. I cast all this anxiety on You because You care for me (1 Pet. 5:6-7).

Go before me today and quicken me to your leading.  Amen.
